Im the King of badbeats but here is a new one on me. Never had this 1 before or even thought of it.

Im a lil short stacked in the 100K Guarantee this past Sunday. 90 left in the tourny and ive dropped from 16th to now about 80th. No cards and a very aggressive table. All the aggressive players come in on my Blind, ive played about 3 hands on this table and should have the tightest of images. So when it gets to me i shove with AJ. Everyone folds to this idiot who has been calling all-ins with crap but winning some and losing some. He calls with A10.
The board comes 33Q3...i know its fuckin horrible. Anyway at this point we are exactly an almost imeasurable % to split the pot. I ran it on poker stove and in 3.3 MILLION
hands we will not split this pot only a lil over 20K times. So its like close to 94% we split the pot.
River??????????????? 10 !!!!!!!!!! Yes i puked for hours............^

Brutal.

Was playing a home game Friday night, 2/5 blinds. A lot of loose players at the table. I got dealt pocket 8's in small blind, raised to $60 after a raise to $25 and a caller. Big blind ( a good friend) raises to $120, the two others fold, I call. Flop comes 872 rainbow. I couldn't have asked for a better flop. I check. My buddy bets 120, I raise to 300, he shoves for 460 something straight. Of course, I call. He turns over pocket 7's. He and I usually run it twice on all-ins since we are good friends. He turns a 7 on the first run, and boom turns a 7 on the second run. I was sick. he gave me back 150 bucks for it being so bad.

I feel your pain. I had $300 cash to my name last Saturday. Went to the casino to play 1/2NL.
Im sitting there talking to this guy next to me and he's saying he hasnt flopped a set in weeks. I look down while the words are coming out his mouth and i have 33. I see a flop about 5 ways of J63 rainbow, 1 Heart. I ck and this lady makes it like 3 times the pot. Everyone folds, i look over and she only had like $90 left so i put her all in. She has J9h...Turn H River H..i lose half my stack.

That lady leaves and another lady takes her same seat. About an hour later i run a bluff on that lady to get back to about $170. Maybe 3 hands later i get 33, i just call. Pot about 4-5 ways as usual. Flop comes C3C and i ck to her. She bets about the pot , everyone folds and i just call. Turn is 8C. Last card i wanted to see is a club , but then i get to thinking shes not good enough to bet a flush draw, i dont think she has it. I ck and she cks. River is a blank and she goes all-in for about $10 more than i have. I bitch and moan but finally throw in my last chips..She looks sad and says you have a flush huh?....ughhh no i have a set of 3's....She breaks out in a smile and flips over pocket 8's!!!!!!!!!

in retrospec i played both hands badly by not putting them all-in on the flop. Live and learn.

Saw a terrible hand when I was down in Florida last week at the Isle.

Flop: A A 9c
Turn: Qc
River: Kc

One guy at the table had pocket aces, flopped quads.
The other J 10 of clubs, rivered a straight flush.

It was disgusting.

The guy who hit the straight flush, won high hand and ended up splitting it with the guy who had pocket aces.

wait, what?

he had 77, flopped a 7, then hit a 7 on first run, 7 on second run????

playing with five 7's in the deck?

if you put the 7 back in after the first run you are doing it wrong

also - the worst bad beats are when the person needs to hit perfect/perfect to win

for example - i was playing late one night a few years ago online at a 5/10 table - one guy was extremely loose.

i raise QQ, he calls.

flop Q-8-2

i check, guy shoves all-in for 300 dollars, i obviously call.
he has 33, turn 3, river 3

glad it wasnt for more, but still from an odds perspective was the worse

No their horrible. Unless you play thru Intertops it takes months to get paid. I have an acct at Int but i cant seem to win there, ive got 4 figures now on the "Juicy" skin that ill prolly never see. Some people are waiting months to get WU from the "Lock" skin.

Nothing worse then not getting paid after winning.
Thats the worst bad beat of all.

I was never much of a cash game player.
I miss the big MTT's and high dollar SNG's.

It seems like the 2 things I like the most are the 2 things that are the hardest to find these days.

Does BODOG still have there 100K on Sunday?

I lost interest there ever since the software change.

Another badbeat id never seen.. Somehow this 1 didnt happen to me!

Playing a tourny the other night and a guy raises from late position, one of the blinds goes all-in and the raiser insta-calls. AA vs J9os !!!!!! The late position raiser has J9...what a maroon...lol

Board comes AK10...all hearts....just like the guys J....Qh on the river and AA has lost to a Royal Flush!!!!!

Been playing the nightly $25 ---$20K guaranteed at 5 Dimes.. Ive never seen such horrible play in my life. I have played like 6 times so far and have yet to even cash. Came pretty close last night but no cigar....

We reshuffled.

You guys can play anyway you want to BUT you do realize that
reshuffling changes the entire dynamics of running it twice.

It GREATLY enhances the odds for the underdog, especially in situations with minimal outs.

Bad beat for me.. happened last year.

Playing NLM

I have Ah Qs... I raise $20, 2 players call.

Flop comes AAQ... so I bet $100, 1 player folds, the other raises me to $200... I go all-in, and he calls.

He turns over 77... (like the posters above 7's are death) Turn 7, river 7.

What gets me is HOW THE HELL DO YOU CALL A $100 RAISE AFTER THAT AAQ FLOP?? THEN RERAISE>>> THEN CALL AN ALL IN??? WTF!!!

No one, and I mean NO ONE, will beat this one... (it didnt happen to me, but I feel for the guy) So I'm at a $1-$3 no limit table a week ago. Ive got about $500/$550 another player has about $400/$500 (he is among the "good" players at the casino) and all others have around $300/$400...Anyways, so This guy raises preflop about $21, everyone folds except this one guys. Flop comes... 3, 3, 7. Guy who raised is first to act, he checks. (oh by the way, he has pocket 7s). I dont know what the other guy was thinking, but I guess it was, Im gonna bluff no matter what. So the guy with the pocket 7s checks. The guy bluffing bets $60, the guy with pocket 7s ( a full house mind u cuz the flop is 3, 3, 7) raises to $120. The guy bluffing goes all in for his remaining stack which is roughly $350/$400 total. The guy with the pocket 7s calls. They flip over their cards, Pocket 7s vs 10,2..... Flop is 3, 3, 7. Turn comes 3. the board is 3, 3, 7, 3......River is the case 3............... quad 3s with a 10 KICKER!!!!! Wins the pot. That was just terrible....Ive never seen anything like that.

I almost shit my pants when I saw this question...to answer: I cashed out on December 21st 2012 yes, 2012....It is currently April 28, 2013 and I have nothing...only a BS answer from Lock saying due to the nature of the business they can't tell me when or how long it will be...I cashed it all out since then and have refused to play there...or anywhere except live.^
